The Niger Delta Avengers appear willing to dialogue with the Nigerian government in a bid to resolve issues in the regions.
This is according to a statement credited to the spokesman for the group, Ballantyne Agiri, Daily Trust reports.
“The body has collectively and willingly agreed to heed the clarion call of eminent Nigerians and international community to dialogue with the Federal Government,” the statement reads. “The federal government should be ready for structural changes that should be human and development oriented.” He added.
The group also says they will not accept monetary inducement from the federal government. Adding that they have selected members of the group who’ll participate in the dialogue.
