University of Lagos authorities says it expelled 125 students and rusticated 198 others.
This was the institution’s punitive measure for offenses ranging from examination malpractices during last academic session, impersonation, among others.
The institution’s Deputy Registrar (Information), Mr Toyin Adebule, confirmed this and adds that the institution “will soon publish and display the names and photographs of the students in the media’’.
He also adds that those caught with micro sheets and marijuana smokers, would face suspension ranging from two to four semesters.
This move by the institution, Adebule says, is to maintain its standard and keep up with best practices.
