Junaid Muhammed, a former House of Representatives member, has warned that Boko Haram insurgence is not yet over. He also said there is a cabal in the presidency and the said ‘cabal’ are responsible for preventing the confirmation of Ibrahim Magu as the chairman of EFCC.
Muhammed’s warning is coming after several assurances by the army that Boko Haram has been obliterated.
Muhammed in an interview with Punch said: “I said and I repeat, Boko Haram is still alive and well. Even if they are not holding territory for a prolonged period in Nigeria, there is no denying the fact that they are still holding areas in the northern part of Nigeria, Ditto in Niger Republic and part of Northern Cameroon”.
