Meme: Was TuFace Forced To Cancel The Protest?

Many believed that TuFace cancelled the protest because he was forced to do so after claims were made that he was arrested by DSS and the life of his family were threatened. Although, he denied the allegations made when he took to his Instagram to clear out the air.

He wrote:
Thanks for the concern guys. I’m fine and free. Reports about DSS arrest are not true. We are still compiling your responses for the leadership. State your opinion on social media with the hastag #IStandWithNigeria . Peace! One luv always!!!

While many still support Tuface even after he cancelled the protest which is still going on, one of his followers showed her disappointment and annoyance by commenting on post with this:
“You’re a disgrace to the Nigerian youths. I was so routing for you as the next presidential candidate but your decision to bow to bullying from our corrupt government has made me lose respect for you. You’re nothing more than the establishment’s puppet. Do you think if Nelson Mandela had backed down, South Africans will enjoy the liberties they have today? The protest was held with or without you @official2baba . It proves we don’t need people like you with obvious commitment issues leading us. The real brave youths protested today. Our next leader is among them. You can go back to your rich social life and leave us to continue the resistance. Shame on you Tuface”
