Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie has launched a Talent Hunt program for the youths in her state.
The Kogi born actress who is currently the SSA on Entertainment and culture to Governor Yahaya Bello is set to launch a program tagged “GYB Talent Hunt” to help Kogi State youths interested in Joining the Nollywood movie industry launch their acting career.
Auditions for the show will begin at the Civic Center in Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State next week Thursday the 17th of August 2017.
Another audition will hold on Friday the 18th of August 2017 in Idah town.
The 3rd audition will hold at Kogi State University Theater Arts Hall in Ayingba on Saturday the 19th of August 2017.
The search will end at Riverton Hotel in Lokoja on Sunday the 21st of August 2017.
The first runner will get N150K cash prize and an opportunity to feature in Inikpi, a Kogi folklore about the story of an Igala Princess.
Top actors to join Mercy Johnson on the judging panel are Frank Rajah, Francis Duru and Bimbo Akintola.
