Paul Julius today announced that veteran actor, Tunde Alabi, had his right foot amputated following complications from diabetes.
Paul writes on Facebook,
“Our Veteran Actor’s foot finally amputated”.
He added that they were able to manage Tunde Alabi’s failing health with support from the Chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, Mr. Don Pedro Aganbi and contributions from colleagues and fans.
In his words, “We were only able to manage to keep him alive but not with his full body as our once vibrant UNCLE TUNDE ALABI loses [sic] his right foot today at General Hospital, Lagos to Diabetes Mellitus.”
He adds that the ailment had drained the actor’s finances and he’ll need drugs to heal the amputated leg.
“Just put something in his account no matter how small and the Lord will reward you abundantly,” Paul concludes.
Tunde Alabi is best known for featuring in ‘Village Headmaster’ and ‘Palace’.
